6. What happens if I don’t use all my hours?
They roll over.
You never lose hours, and there is no “use it or lose it.”
Unused time simply accumulates and can be used for larger future projects.
7. How does billing work?
Your Start Right Retainer auto-bills every week until you cancel.
- Hours accumulate
- You’re billed automatically with the card on file
- Work continues until you pause or cancel
- You can cancel at any time — no commitment or lock-in
Autopay Flow
- Day 1: Payment attempt
- Day 2: Second reminder if payment fails
- Day 3: Third reminder
- EOD Day 3: Work is paused until payment resumes
This ensures smooth scheduling and prevents project interruptions.
8. What if payment fails?
If autopay fails:
- You get automatic reminders
- We continue working for 72 hours
- If payment still hasn’t gone through by the end of day 3, all projects are paused
Your hours are preserved — nothing is lost.
Work simply resumes once payment processes.
9. Can I pause my retainer?
Yes.
You can pause anytime before the weekly billing cycle runs.
Hours simply freeze and continue when you resume.
10. Is there a limit to how many projects I can request?
No limit — request as many projects as you want.
We work through them based on:
- Priority
- Current hour balance
- What will move your business forward fastest
11. How many clients do you take on?
We cap retainers at 10 active clients to guarantee fast turnaround and high-quality work.
This ensures you’re never waiting behind a huge backlog.
12. Who actually does the work?
All work is done by:
- Will (Founder/CMO/CTO at Start Right)
- Plus vetted senior-level contractors for specialized tasks (design/dev/video)
- Everything is quality-checked, structured, and delivered through Start Right systems
You’re never handed off to random juniors.
13. What if I need bigger projects (courses, full systems, brand overhaul)?
You can absolutely do that within the retainer.
Big projects are simply broken down into:
- Weekly sprints
- Clear blocks
- Transparent time logs
You stay in full control of what’s being prioritized.
