Colors
Plum and pink

A playful identity for a dessert brand, led by a cupcake character and a hand-drawn stacked wordmark. The pattern and sign show how far one character can travel.

Design by Muhammad Talha, Start Right’s brand design partner. Shared from his portfolio with permission. These examples represent his design work, rather than a claim that Start Right held the original client engagement.

The lockup on light and on pink

01

Character and name together.

The cupcake sits in the crook of the stacked letters, so symbol and wordmark lock up as one. Plum and pink keep it sweet without becoming childish.

The cupcake repeat pattern

02

A pattern for everything else.

The cupcake repeats at different angles across a plum ground, giving the brand a surface for packaging, bags and walls.

The lockup as a backlit sign

03

Seen at night.

A backlit sign on a dark wall shows the lockup in a storefront setting, where contrast and a simple silhouette matter most.

The Backlog Audit: one page, ten items, three piles

Sort what you keep putting off into Do, Decide and Drop, write the sentence that makes each one finishable, and put an honest hours guess beside it. Most people find the whole list is smaller than it felt.
